Samet Island Overview

There are 14 pristine beaches on Samet Island for visitors. The colorful coral reefs and clear waters are great for snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving, but of course, you can always sunbathe and relax on the white sandy beaches as well.Samet Island is located only 6.5 kilometers from Ban Pae where boat services and many kinds of accomodation are available.

Getting there:

A ferry from Ban Pae Pier leaves for 3 piers on Samet Island everyday from 7am until 5pm. It takes about 25 minutes on the ferry to Thadan Pier, 30 minutes to Praow Pier, and 45 minutes to Wong Duan Pier. An alternative is to hire a speed boat from Ban Pae Pier for around 1000 baht/trip. Star Hotel provides transportation for guests to Ban Pae for 450 baht.
